Facing
onto the Atlantic Ocean (rather than the Mediterranean Sea), there
are always cooling breezes which help to keep the temperatures
very pleasant without the excesses found on the other Coasts.
This region enjoys an exceptional average climate of 20°-25°C
and over 300 days of sunshine throughout the year.
The name Costa de la Luz, Coast of Light, comes from the long
hours of sunlight and the beautiful sunsets over the west and
south facing coastline.
